Industries have been demanding graduates to be equipped with work skills by the time they get to the workplace. Problem is, there have been no formally accredited qualifications in work skills. That is until AITT developed the Certificate III, IV and Diploma of Work Skills for Career Enhancement and Management.
In case you needed a recap, Work Skills (also known as Employability Skills or Future Skills) refer to skills that are required in the workplace – regardless of industry. These are skills such as:
- Emotional intelligence
- Problem solving
- Creative fluency
- Digital fluency
- Ethical and Social fluency
- Positive image and confidence
- Time management.
We have been delivering work skills in Australia, and the demand for Work Skills Qualifications in South East Asia is on the rise.
We are proud to announce that AITT and Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA Malaysia (KUPTM) have signed a Letter of Intent for collaboration leading to the delivery of AITT’s diploma courses as dual awards in combination with KUPTM degrees as well as stand alone corporate programs.
This effectively means that all graduates from KUPTM will be equipped with formal Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications in Work Skills by the time they graduate. This will make KUPTM students instantly more employable and more desirable by industry. This is nothing short of a massive value add for all KUPTM students. AITT will also be offering diplomas in Project Management and Leadership and Management to KUPTM students. This will equip KUPTM students with high value Australian Nationally Recognised competency based qualifications.
